New high performance building and
construction foam tapes fill the gap

Joints up to 42 mm in prefabricated concrete, brick work,
curtain walling and cladding panels can be effectively
sealed using the new high performance ISO-BLOCO
range of pre-compressed 600 PUR impregnated
foam tapes from leading supplier ISO-Chemie.

Incorporating fire resistant qualities, the versatile
ISO BLOCO 600 range can be widely used
to provide simple, quick and effective gap
seals to accommodate expansion and
movement as well as for both weather and
air tightness, while still remaining permeable
to trapped water and water vapour. Similar to a
flexible breathable style material for the building facade.

Quick and easy-to-apply, the self-adhesive ISO BLOCO 600 tapes
can be used to seal joints ranging in width from 1 mm to 42 mm
providing excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. Unlike
cartridge sealants these tapes need minimal surface preparation and
can even be installed in the rain.

Product can accommodate a temperature range of -30° to +90° and
is impermeable to driving rain with a minimum of 600 Pa, making it
one of the best performing tapes in its class.

Once installed, they ensure a building is better protected from
elemental factors like wind, dust and moisture ingress by
accommodating the changes in structural movement caused by
environmental, cyclical and settlement factors. The product remains
permanently flexible throughout its life expectancy of 25 years plus.

ISO BLOCO can be over painted, is compatible with all standard building
materials and comes with a 10 year warranty. It complies with the
relevant UK Building Regulations, as well as DIN EN standards, covering
thermal conductivity, dimension tolerance, impermeamability to driving
rain on joints and vapour diffusion among others.

Available from UK stock, product can be supplied to customers on a
24 - 48 hour bases and comes in assorted sizes to suite joints up to
42 mm while having a “Movement Accommodation Factor” (MAF)
averaging 130 % to give maximum tolerance on site.
