Practical sealing solutions

Façade joints are subject to extreme climatic and physical stresses. The
iso³-Facade Sealing System is a practical, standards-compliant solution
for the durable and reliable sealing of façade construction components.

Façade seals in masonry constructions

ISO-BLOCO 600 or 300 pre-compressed joint sealing tapes are the ideal
choice for the professional sealing and refurbishing of the external joints
in building façades. Both system products are suitable for sealing the
horizontal and vertical joints between prefabricated concrete elements
and façade components against wind-driven rain. Because of the special
material structure of the vapour-permeable PUR sealing strips, water
vapour and/or condensation can escape outwards in a controlled manner.
In addition, the tapes are highly flexible and guarantee conformity with
continuous movement.

ISO-BLOCO 600 was specially designed to provide reliable joint seals in
high-rise buildings and façades up to 100 m in height. The quality-tested
BG 1 joint sealing tape fulfils the stringent requirements of DIN 18542.

The BG 2 joint sealing tapes ISO-BLOCO 300 features a resistance to
wind-driven rain of 300 Pa and can be used for buildings up to 20 m high.

Metal façade construction

For metal façade constructions, the system with ISO-CONNECT Inside
and Outside EPDM offers two flexible EPDM sealing strips for the internal
and external sealing of window, door and façade joints. ISO-CONNECT
Outside EPDM is especially suitable for the reliable sealing of doors and
windows which extend to the floor in perimeter areas.

As an alternative to the self-adhesive versions, the EPDM sealing strips
can be securely attached to the substrate using ISO-TOP Flex-adhesive XP
or ISO-BUTYL Self-adhesive tape, as all system components are optimally
matched and can all be combined with each other.
