Window sealing made easy

ISO-BLOCO One Control is quick and easy to fit. On PVC and aluminium
window frames, the tape is effortlessly clipped into the grooves in the
window frame using the ISO-TOOL Clip assembly tool.
The ISO-TOOL Cut corner tool is then used to create reliable corner
loops. The pre-fitted tape is also available with a high-quality self-
adhesive butyl fixing for use on wooden window frames and guarantees
permanently airtight fixing to the window frame.

ISO-BLOCO One Control is encapsulated in a special tear-off cover
which ensures that the tape remains pre-compressed even after the roll
is unwound and pre-fitted to the window frame.

This is a great innovation as expansion of the joint sealing tape does not
start until the window is installed. This is done by pulling the activation
tab integrated into the product at the required time in order to open the
foil perforations. This enables the fitter to install the window and then he,
or others, can decide when to trigger the full tape expansion.

ISO-BLOCO One Control makes light work of creating a window seal
that conforms to Energy Saving Standards and RAL requirements. The
pre- compressed multifunctional joint sealing tape can be easily, quickly
and reliably pre-fitted in a way that has never been possible in the past.

Controlled strip expansion
is a wondrous thing

The controlled tape expansion opens up entirely new possibilities for the window installation industry.

For example, ISO-BLOCO One Control can be easily and efficiently
fitted to the windows under controlled conditions on the manufacturer’s
premises or in the workshop before transportation to the site.

Window installers on site then benefit greatly from the easy-to-use pre-
assembled solution. With ISO-BLOCO One Control there are no more
failed installations due to weathering or temperature conditions as can
occur when other sealing materials are used. In winter, installation
restrictions due to low temperatures, as are the case when using
structural foams for example, are unheard of. In Summer, the
multifunctional pre-fitted tape does not have to be stored under cool conditions to prevent premature expansion, in contrast to other
compressed joint sealing tapes.

With the pre-fitted ISO-BLOCO One Control, the seal does not have to
be introduced into the joint after it is formed, which can sometimes be
difficult. The smooth foil surface allows the window to slide easily into the
reveal, and the tape does not start to expand in the joint until the tear-
off cover is removed. This means that, in the future, windows can be
installed regardless of the temperature and weather conditions and thus
without any time pressure whatsoever.

Saving time and money can be so easy

ISO-BLOCO One Control makes it possible. The multifunctional joint
sealing tape with three functional areas conforms to the RAL 3-level
principle which would otherwise require three different products. This
means less time spent fitting it, particularly since the self-adhesive tape
can be pre-fitted in the compressed state in a single step. The product
is very quickly attached around the window frame, and the subsequent
window installation is also very fast as no additional time has to be spent
attaching the seal. The resulting time and cost savings really cannot be
overstressed.

Multifunctional
– a major strength

ISO-BLOCO One Control is a multifunctional joint sealing tape that works
on the 3-level principle devised by the RAL.

The innovative pre-fitted tape has three functional areas. The 1000 Pa
external zone offers particularly high resistance to driving rain, while the
middle zone provides reliable thermal and acoustic insulation. At the
internal zone, the tape with its revolutionary low a-value of 0.00 creates
a 100 % airtight vapour barrier.

In line with the new Energy Saving Standards, the pre-fitted tape helps
to minimise heat losses due to convection and is particularly suitable for
sealing windows in passive house construction.

It also has an optimum vapour diffusion gradient from inside to outside
(50 : 1) allowing effective moisture transport to the outside. Any moisture
that has collected in the joint can quickly dry out, almost entirely
preventing structural damage and mould build-up due to humidity.


Extended range of joint applications
offer even greater versatility

ISO-BLOCO One Control has a particularly broad range of joint
applications. Joints from 6 to 33 mm can be reliably sealed with just
two tape dimensions.

The high-expansion pre-fitted tape thus guarantees full reliability and
performance, even when components move or there are large joint
variations.
